Life
After living briefly in Tucker, GA for 4 years 1980 - 1984 I moved back to Snellville where I still live with my husband, Steve Miller of 30 years. Our two sons, Matt and Jason live and attend college in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I work for Macy's, Inc. with Macy's Logistics & Operations in Tucker and have been there since 1976! Currently I am a Human Resources Administrator. I miss the small town atmoshere of the old town Snellville where the only restaurant was the Dairy Queen and All Star Cafe. WOW What a change! My good buddies were Jennifer Peters, Belinda Aiken, Lloyd Kerr, Edwin & Ralph Button. Donna Watson. David Castellaw, Tracy Sorrells, Kathy Finley, Ken Browning (aka Stanley Beemish!) , John Crease and David Rodriguez. I only attended 1 year and 1 semester at South HS when I moved here from California. What some of you may not of known is although I was rasied in California I was born in Hebzibah, Georgia. Georgia is!
For my Pinole Valley HS friends in Calif- I have great memories of you all! Especially Donny Jones (special, from Kennedy HS), Laura Matushefski(we still stay in touch) Becky Mosby Turner, Karen
Kirksey Horn, Teresa Meskaukis, Kathy Lee, Cathy Cumberland, Sharon Bateman and so many more.
I didn't attend Richmond HS or Kennedy HS just hoping Donny Jones or someone who knows him would sign up on classmates too. He was a great friend and just wondering how he's doing. We lost touch.
Update: Nov 2008- My son Jason moved back home to Georgia. He's working and playing drums at Snellville United Methodist church. My son Matt still living in Jonesboro but had to take time off from school to work. Hopefully he will go back and complete college. My husband Steve is looking for work. Unfortunatley he's been out of work for several months now.
I reconnected with my very good friend from PVHS- Beck Mosby! We were great friends in Califronia and lost touch. Thanks to classmates and her brother Scot we are back in touch again.
Update 6-8-2009- Great news- My husband is employed with a great local pest management company and loves the work! My son Jason has moved back to Jonesboro and will attend Arkansas State in the fall. Matt has found work and still does worship services as often as possible. He and Jason will be flying to Washington,Pennsylvania next week to do the music at a big youth celebration worship service. I miss not having them close by but very happy for both my boys. God is truly good...Expand for more

3-23-2010-
Matt and Jason are doing mission work at a Rescue mission in LA, Calif. They have never been there but are working hard at helping anything the mission needs. Cooking, playing games with kids who are in the after school program, serving meals etc. I've gotten several pix on facebook from them. They are actually sleeping on the roof top in little tents. Oh to be young again! Look me up on facebook!

My oldest son got married to Sarah Beth Stevenson in Doniphan, Missouri. It was a beautiful wedding and I am blessed to have such a wonderful daughter in law. They live in a cute little house in Arkansas. Matt just got a job as a worship leader. Sarah Beth will attend nursing school on the fall. Life is good!

Just celebrated my 57th Birthday on Sep 8th - yep not too proud to tell my age! Enjoying life!
My son Jason got engaged back in June to Casey Smith- they will wed on September 21, 2014! So hapy for Jason and Casey! Matt will FINALLY get his bachelors degree in Dec OH YEAH! Sarah Beth graduated nursing school and is now an RN working at a hospital in Arkansas. My husband continues to improve from his car wreck/workers comp- God is good! I continue to work in Human Resouces at Macy's- will celebrate 26 years in HR in Dec and 37 years with Rich's- Macy's! Yep I guess you can say I will retire from macy's LOL not soon enough for me. Hugs to all!

Became a grandma to sweet Maisy Grace on 6-9-2014! Nothing like it! My youngest son,Jason got married to Casey (Smith) Miller in September 2014. I still work in Human Resources at Macy's. Hanging on to the thought of retiring- but don't you have to have money to live? LOL. LIFE IS GOOD BUT GOD IS BETTER!!!

Matt and Sarah blessed us with another granddaughter on Aug 28, 2015, Willow Joy! The family came here for Thanksgiving. I enjoyed my grand babies so much. God is blessing me.
Update: 11/1/2018-
Jason got remarried in 2017 to Catherine . She had a 4 yr old from a previous marriage, Addy, that I love so much. Catherine had our sweet granddaughter Ryleigh 11 months after their wedding. That made a total of 4 granddaughters! In May 2018 Matt’s wife Sarah gave birth to our first grandson ,Ezra! We now have 5 grandchildren! BLESSED!!
In Feb 2018 I retired from Macy’s ! In May we moved to Arkansas to be closer to our grandkids. God has truly blessed me and my husband. We will celebrate 39 years in Feb 2019❤️
