Kathryn's Story

Married 28 years, two children (boy-girl twins) ages 26. Employed in the nursing field since 1978, as an LVN nurse, currently working in the Beaumont area and reside with spouse north of Beaumont.-----Our son Joey married May 2009 and will graduate May2011 as an Optometrist from Optometry School at University of Houston, previously he obtained his B.S. degree in Biology 2007 from Lamar Bmt.----Our daughter Kimberly completed B.S. degree in Biology 2007 from Lamar Bmt. and completed the Master's in Biology from Lamar Bmt. and then married May 2010. Dwayne (my spouse) and I are very proud of them, they have brought such joy and fulfillment to our lives. attended Lamar Bmt for one semester fall of 74, then went off to Jr.College 1975 in Jacksonville,Tx., then returned home to work full time as a Secretary at Jefferson Co. Courthouse in Bmt 1976, but then realized my calling was to the nursing profession, I entered LVN school and graduated 1978 from Lamar Bmt.-------Worked full time and married 1983 to a wonderful christian man, a Vietnam veteran from Nederland,Tx., Dwayne Cessac, he is now retired at age 64, but still operates a private business in Nederland,Tx.----- We recently became grandparents, son Joey and his wife Amber had twin girls May 27th 2011, also our daughter Kimberly and her husband Karl are expecting their first child, a baby girl in November 2011. I just have to say that my life is fulfilled, having watched my kids grow up, become college graduates, marry and now start families of their own: we have been blessed. God is Good.
