Kathryn's Story
I graduated from Eastern Washington University - Eastern Washington State College at the time - in 1973 with a BA in Education. After teaching one year in Granger, WA, I married in 1974 (no he did not attend Federal Way). My husband was in the Air Force and through out his carrier we lived in Spokane (twice); Las Vegas, twice, when he was with the USAF Thunderbirds and Clovis, New Mexico before...Expand for more
he retired in 1990 and we moved home to the Federal Way area. I have been teaching in the Federal Way school district since 1997 and am now a Teacher Librarian at two elementary schools and am looking forward to retiring before too long. I am blessed with two sons but no grandchildren. I did retire in June 2018. Unfortunately, I lost my husband in April of 2017. We were married almost 43 years.
