Life After completing college, I discovered that there was an over abundance of experienced teachers and could not find a teaching position. So, I decided go to work for "Ma Bell"(my apologies, Mrs. Browne and Mr. Miller) and in so doing became one of the first gals to be selected to work in a traditionally "male" job assignment. The experience was both challenging and interesting to say the least! From there, and with the help some night school, company training and correspondence courses, I rose through the ranks to Engineering Manager and Systems Administrator. It was the type of career I never thought I would have picked in a million years, but I really enjoyed every aspect of it! In 1991 I was extremely blessed to be able to take part in Pacific Bell's early retirement offer and I've never looked back!
