Kathryn's Story
Life
I'm married, have no children except the 3 dogs who run our household. I've been in Geogia for 26 years now, so I guess I'm more of a southerner than a west coast person. However, I still think about Mill City and camping and fishing and the fun stuff we did in school. (like wrecking the drivers training car -- my family still doesn't let me forget that stuff.
I was a late bloomer, started college late and graduated at age 40, but better late than never.
My degree is in HRA and I truly enjoy the field I work in.
My husband is a paramedic, working with a local hospital. We live in a good area for fishing, and he is an avid fisherman. I would like to bring him to Oregon for a visit, just so he could see the mountains an...Expand for more
d coast, which are so different than what we have in the low country.
Currently I'm a contractor working in Baghdad...what an adventure...I'm proud to be over here helping with the rebuilding of this country.
Workplace
I was raised in the wonderful state of Oregon, living in a wonderful little town of Mill City. My memories are all I have as it has all changed so. However, as an adult I have moved to Georiga, and thoroughly love where we live. I 'm not a native, but I love being a Georgia Peach and would not ever trade it! We live in the low country, lots of fishing, golf, and most important mild weather. Of course we have to skirt around a hurricane now and then, but we don't have to worry with snow and ice.....how wonderful!
