Kathy's Story
Life
After a few years working for AOL(which was great fun, by the way), I finally took a detour off the online super highway and sat down to follow my dream of writing a novel.
Yeah, yeah, everyone SAYS they're going to write a book someday, but I amazed myself and my family when after a few months I typed the words THE END and sent the manuscript off to my agent.
Imagine my surprise when a bidding war ensued between three New York publishers all vying for my book. In the end, Time Warner snapped it up and I was contracted for several more books under my married name Kathryn Caskie.
My first novel, Rules of Engagement, (a romantic comedy) hit bookstores May 04--the 2nd book in January 05, and my 3rd and 4th mass market novels for Time Warner Septem...Expand for more
ber 05 and in June 2006.
My 5th book for my new publisher, HarperCollins, saw phenomenal sales when it hit the stores October 1, 2006 making the USA Today Best-seller list in one day! My books are selling well internationally as well and are now translated into nine languages in addition to English.
My eigth book, the first in my new Seven Deadly Sins series for HarperCollins, hit the shelves on November 25th (2008). Be sure to look for The Most Wicked of Sins in 2009. Life is good. Except sleep is out of the question.
Moral of the story? Remember, it's never to late to follow your dream.
Stop by KathrynCaskie dot com if you want to know what I'm up to these days or drop me a line about old times, getting published, whatever.
Cheers!
Kathy
