Kathryn's Story

I lived in Marina during High school. Was friends with Kathleen Clark, Kathryn Stockton. Kept my horse down by the beach and spent all my spare time on horseback,. Dated Charlie Bonner thru Senior year and his first year at West Point. Was also friends with the Ayers kids, who were also neighbors. I wrote songs then, have written many in the 80's and am still writing. Performed as a Singer/Songwriting in the Seattle area after divorce from my first husband, With whom I had 3 wonderful children, now in their 40s with children of their own. Have lived in the Seattle area since 1979, worked as a Realtor, a Stockbroker, owned my own Horse boarding and training business, Now am a Commercial Realtor, travel several times a year to Cambridge, England. In 1989 I married my wonderful husband, Robert Jones, a career Flight Surgeon in the Army. Have lived in Germany, upstate New York, Long Beach, Washington which tookme back to the wild beaches I knew so well in Marina. We are back near Seattle. Bob has retired from the Army, now thinking about retirement from civilian work as well. We will probably both retire in about 5 years. Bob is a Los a musician, and we have play...Expand for more
ed music, all over Europe, England, Scotland and here. Mostly traditional Celtic, and Country Western..and of course originals.. We have 7 children between us, including A son together. We have 6 grandchildren, Dogs, and Horses. Interesting bits a long the way: 1971, hit by a car on the rode up from the beach as a pedestrian, left with partially paralyzed arm, unable to finish college. 1971 a Married to first husband, 3 children, lived in Plumas County, and then the Bay Area. Moved to Washington 1979. I LOVE the Pacific Northwest! 1986 Did my formal training as a Stockbroker in the World Trade Center in NYC. Horrified, as we all were, when it fell that terrible 9/11 morning. Still have horses, ride and drive, especially Bob, who is an excellent horseman. I continue to write-not I my nonexistent spare time- but as my muse moves me. Divorced 1981. Remarried 1989. Right now I am in Cambridge celebrating our beloved granddaughters birthdays. Loving Life. I am also a Christian, a real one now. Love to reconnect with any of you. I am interested to know all of your stories. I never realized what an outstanding School SHS really was, but we were fortunate...

Our Darling Duke , our beloved Great Dane had to be put to sleep yesterday. At 9 1/2 he is an older gentleman. What a fine heart, a loving soul.
A good, good life well lived.
This is 1000 yr old church we attend in our little Suffolk village. The building is beautiful, but the people more
Beautiful.
