Kathy's Story
I recently retired as a secretary for a home health and hospice agency in E. Oregon. I loved my job and the people I worked with but after losing two friends in the last three years to breast cancer, a friend to a stroke at 58 years and have a dear friend who is currently battling pancreatic cancer, I decided that time is worth more than money. it here. We have a large garden, 30 fruit trees, raspberries, strawberries, and 10 varieties of table grapes. We have a view of Mt Hood and Mt Adams from our living room window.
I am not very adventurous preferring to do needlework, paper crafts and read. However, hubby has other ideas for me now that I am retired. He plans to get me on the back of his Honda ST1100 motorcycle to ride into the sunset. As long as it means eating in restaurants and sleeping in motels, I'm game! If we would be packing a lunch and sleeping on the ground, it would be NO DEAL!
