Life Funny how at 16 everything is so much more important than it is at 41... being a teenager was hard, being in high school even harder. If you remember me from high school at all, you probably remember me as being very quiet and reserved, and in at least a couple of our classmates opinions a complete snob - are you kidding me??? a snob??? If I didn't speak to you in high school it had nothing to do with being a snob and everything to do with being painfully shy. If I could redo high school, knowing then what I know now, I would have made the effort to speak my mind a bit more, not worry so much about what people might be thinking and make an effort to get to know more people on a deeper level. Well with age comes wisdom, things change and people change - I have. Now if I don't talk to you, it's totally because I'm a snob :) I have been very lucky in my life, I am very happily married to a wonderful guy, I have an amazing daughter (19 yrs), 8 beautiful nieces and nephews and have had the opportunity to travel and see many different parts of this incredible world we live in. I can honestly say there is not much in my life that I look back on with regret, that's not to say that I didn't make my share of mistakes and have at least my share of unfortunate incidences but all in all, I had a great high school experience and great friends. If there is anything I regret, it is that I didn't know enough in high school to take a chance and step outside my comfort zone and realize the sky wouldn't fall and the world wouldn't end regardless of the outcome of taking that chance.
