Kathy's Story
I'm living in Fresno, CA. A reigistered nurse employed by Community Regional Medical Center as the Stroke Program Coordinator. Been married to Ken Barger since 1987. Our Brady bunch consist of Kenny soon to be 40, Ellen 35, Becky 33, Paul 31 and Kristy 31. Three grandkids: Taylor 11, Evan 10, Abigail 1.

mom. Dad passed away in 2006, mom had several strokes and is wheelchir bound. Finally had to cry uncle and place her in nursing home. Work keepsw me busy. It;s alot of work to develop a program! Finally got us nationally certified as a Primary Stroke Center.
So if any of you have symptoms of a stroke, go to a primary stroke center no matter what other hospital is closer to you.
