Hello old SHM Friends,
Forty-five years since we graduated from high school and so much has happened to fill all our days. I've been married to Richard for 43 years and we have three sons - Rick, Chris and Steven - and two grandkids - Alexandra and Cameron. We live on a tiny lake in Yorba Linda and spend lots of time at the river or in the mountains. I retired two years ago as Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum in my school district and now work, part time, at Los Angeles County Office of Education, training principals. llege and a future in education. I feel fortunate to have attended - even with the lack of PE changing rooms and showers! Suzanne Ouye was ASB president our senior year and a large group of us commuted from the Whittier area - Chris Gill, Pat McAvoy, Frances Cartmell, Marilyn Miller, Nancy Noxheim, SueEllen Fantz, and sometimes Frances and Genie Gerber. We had so much fun together that all my high school memories are happy ones!
Teachers I recall were Mother Gabriel, Mother Theodore, Mother Aquinas, Mother Bernard and Mrs Alcott.
