Kathy's Story
My husband and I have been married for over 18 and a half years and been together for 23 years and have been BEST friends for over 29 years. Wow what a long time to be with someone! We have grown up together and we as well as our families are so very close.ÃÂÃÂ We are so blessed. During all of this time we have three beautiful children - TabithaÃÂÃÂ who is 13 yrs, Kamryn-Rose who is 10 yrs, and Spencer who is 8 yrs old. We LOVE to take family vacations and are currently planning another trip to Disney and Independance Missouri to see our church Temple and hope to make it up to New York to see some of our family.ÃÂÃÂ God has blessed us so much.ÃÂÃÂ My husband: Frank Reno graduated from Pine Forrest in 1983 - he and I along with our family are very active members of our church "The Community of Christ". We have our careers: Frank is self employeed "Knarf Comics" and was laid off from the Judicial Center as a Judicial Specalist with Escambia Clerk of Cir. Courts after 15 years but now I work with the State of Florida County Health Deapartment with School Health as a Health Tech in the school Clinics, I help children & parents and I LOVE IT!!!!!!!I am currently the Pastor of our church "Community of Christ" another rewarding job!!!!!!! Our family is mainly focused on being ministers within our church and Christ mission. Frank is our outreach leader and head of our church food pantry to help the needy - our three children and I help in this rewarding task.ÃÂÃÂ I enjoy preaching and teaching the gospel to ALL people.ÃÂÃÂ This is our family goal to help teach, preach and lead another soul to Jesus Christ. We have always been active and continue to be MORE active in our church duties - beacause that is what our lives our all about - this is what we want to do until we break on through to the other side of life.ÃÂÃÂ We have dedicated our lives to the master and preach the gospel wherever we go in our actions and in our speech. That is what we have been up to since graduation.God bless - Love, peace, joy in Jesus Christ Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ring the service that she and I were in charge of on June 29th, 2008.ÃÂÃÂ It was so "bittersweet" I love and miss her so much but she went so peacefully (one breath she was among us at church and the next breath she was at Jesus feet).ÃÂÃÂ She was truly found about her heavenly fathersÃÂÃÂ business.ÃÂÃÂ I know she is with my dad that she had been missing so much for 26 LONG years - now they will celebrate not just their 50th year wedding anniversary but just being in the master's care with nothing but peace & happiness.ÃÂÃÂ (BOY!) Can't wait to get there myself!!!The theme we were serving together and had been working on was entitled "BE A LIVING SACRIFICE" she not only lived this but God had showed us all at church that day (in her life & death) to give it all to God who gave it all to us - Self must die (die to self) means it is not about you or all you obtain in this materialistic life but it is about what you give back to God and others in need and what good works you leave behind to influence others. On our church sign it put it best ("THE BEST INHERITANCE IS TO LEAVE A GOOD EXAMPLE"). God does answer prayers cause I wanted to be with her when she passed but could not do it alone -ÃÂÃÂ God let me be there when my mom passed and I had the whole congregation with me to help comfort she and I.ÃÂÃÂ God helped me to speak at her funeral and tell the storyÃÂÃÂ about ("THE FORK" - THE BEST IS YET TO COME) check it out!!!Remember death does not have the final VICTORY if you truly believe in Jesus cause the best is yet to come and God is the final VICTORY OVER ALL EVIL including death.AMEN BROTHERS & SISTERS!
New update: Now I am working part time at my children's school in the Library and I LOVE IT!!! Amazing what you can fit into a day that we already have full and We are MORE active now in our church missionary work. It is so needed now more than ever. Life is so tough for so many and I am so glad that our family can help someone in need - this is what Jesus taught us and he is our ultimate boss that we work so hard everyday for. I am just so thankful that my family and I can do what God has called us to do.
God bless,
Kathy
