I traveled for a few years out of high school before marrying Kevin Seely in 1977. We had 2 beautiful daughters. Our marriage ended while I was going to BSU. I moved on campus, with my girls, and finished my degree in Nursing. I finished raising my girls as a single mom (by choice). I worked at St Luke's for 7 years and at Mountain States tumor institute for 3 years. I then met my current husband (love of my life) in a chat room. I moved to San Luis Obispo CA in 2000. My girls moved to the LA area at the same time. I worked for a local hospital that is nothing compared to St Luke's or St Al's. It was a dump compared. I stayed there for 7 years, then worked as an infusion nurse for a rheumatology MD for 2 years. Currently I'm with Hospice and I love it here. Oncology has always been my true love of nursing, therefore, dealing with end of life patients, Hospice was where I wanted to land before retiring. I plan on working for another 10 years at least. I hope to cut back my hours in the next couple of years. I love living on the central coast. My patient's are in the small towns of Los Osos and Morro Bay on the coast, where I get to see the beautiful ocean daily. It's a 20 min drive from my home. Though I do miss the mountains of Boise. My parents have both passed away but my siblings and their kids still live there so I go home often.
