Kathy's Story

I got married to the love of my life in August of 2005. My husband, Rich, and I live in Dublin, CA and we work at Washington Mutual Card Services so we were both affected by the recent acquisition by Chase. Their credit card division is located in Delaware and we weren't willing to relocate so by the end of April we will both be unemployed and looking. Fortunately we worked there for nine and 12 years respectively so we are both getting good severance packages. Rich and I had a daughter together on November 18, 2007. Her name is Brooklyn Kassidy. She was born 16 weeks and two days early and spent 110 days in the NICU at Children's Hospital in Oakland before coming home with us. She's happy, healthy, and thriving. f custody of her so we get to spend a lot of time with her. She goes to school in Livermore where her mother lives. On the weekends I enjoy spending time with my family as well as visiting our parents in Reno and Monterey. My sister, Christy, and her family also live in Monterey so we go down there as often as possible. I continue to love the NFL and follow it religiously. Rich and I have a Ranking Pool that we head up each season. This year we had 29 people participate and I actually came in first place (and Rich came in second. And no - it was not rigged!!!! Fortunately for us, we have it set up so that no one can accuse us of cheating! I guess I could go on and on, but that's about it - thank you for reading my "story" and I hope you're all doing well.
