Kathy's Story
Life
I have been happily married to Kenneth Edgmon for 34 years. We met on a blind date and have been together ever since. Kenneth is a sheriff's deputy and a canine officer. I am an English Instructor at a college nearby and have been there for eight years.

My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely clueless.
In 10 years, I hope to be retired. I'm going to get there by living one day at a time.
My first job was at Sonic, where I got paid $1.49 to make drinks. What I remember most about it is the malt machine exploding on my clothes.
I'll never forget the day my father died. It was devastating to me on many levels.
