Life
I was married in my Junior year of High School. My husband and I moved to California briefly after he got out of the Army, but moved back to Washington, where he re-enlisted. We spent the next twenty years moving from Washington, to Virginia, Georgia, California, Colorado and Hawaii.In there were three overseas tours for him, two to Korea and one to Viet Nam, where he won the Air Medal, and the Bronze Star. We retired from the service in January of 1982 and lived for 6 years in Las Vegas, NV before moving here to Tulsa, where he works for a Major airline as a mechanic.I have spent most of my working life in the financial field, working in banks and credit unions as a consumer and real estate loan processor. ol,I never figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up! We have three grown children, our oldest, a daughter is 36, and is Downs Syndrome and now lives in a sheltered home with several other women in Las Vegas. Our two sons, 34 and 29, moved here with us and are now married with children of their own. We have 3 grandchildren, 13,8,and 3. We have a very active life, we have a Harley Davidson Road King and have put over 40,000 miles on it traveling. I am now looking for a bike of my own. We also have two "waterbikes" and we spend a lot of our time in the summer on the lake. My husband and I have been married for 41 years next month and we have a good life here in Oklahoma. It's amazing how far we have come since our high school days.
