Kathy's Story
After graduating, I went to COA for cosmetology and graduated from there. I worked at the House of Beauty for about a year and a half. Then I went back to COA for executive secretarial courses and graduated. But wouldn't you know, I ended up getting a job as a barber at the Coast Guard base. I worked there for 14 and a half years. hter (1989). In 1995 I became a widow and left the base to work in town. I've been busy with raising our daughter on my own and working. Currently I work in a shop called Shear Heaven. So that's pretty much all there is. I still keep up regularly with one of my classmates and see others when I'm in town shopping. Would love to hear from everyone when I update my membership to Gold.
