First and foremost I am a MOM to the most amazing boy that I've been blessed with by the grace of God. It is thee most meaningful role I have in my life for which I not only feel privileged to hold but am grateful. I work in the Passenger Refunds dept at Delta Air Lines of which I've been employed in various facets for the past 22 years. I sing, dance and act. I currently belong to the Showstoppers Dance Group. After a much long hiatus I have returned to Martial Arts at my Dad's dojo Sekai Toshi Gujitsu Dojo(a.ka. World Fighting Arts). Starting in 1972 I hope to carry on the tradition that has been passed down to me from Master Founder Shimabuku to Sensei Overton, to my Dad and me. I realize the need of the body and mind for balance with the spirit through the arts and through my faith in my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. My music, dance, and martial arts are more than just the technique of each dance step, voice placement, or reciting a monolgue. It is more than the moves in Kata, or the skills in kumite or being able to defend oneself. The personal growth that I've experienced and hope to regain are vital to my dedication and determination in all facets of my life. By doing so I hope to pass these values down to my precious Ryan and enjoy helping him puruse his dreams.".
