Kathy Skinner:

CLASS OF 1973
Wyoming, MI

Kathy's Story

Hated school, loved the band (for the most part). Got my diploma in adult ed. on the recommendation of the guidance counselor 6 mos. before graduation, not sure that was good advise! Don't remember much about highschool, most of it is a blur. Many of the names I've seen are familiar but can't really remember any of them except for really close friends, which amounts to a couple of people. Currently happily married. Tried twice before and just couldn't do it right, too young, too stupid, who knows. Now, living between Holland, MI and Reed City. Have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, 2 grandchildren, and 1 fat dog. Was a martial artist for 13 years, 4th degree black belt, taught classes, had my own school, (but don't get too excited, I just had both knees replace...Expand for more
d) was a Veternarian Asst., Admn. Asst., and a CNA and best of all, a professional painter. Miss painting and kicking butt the most, but at least now I can walk without pain and excercise my newly adopted fat, old dog Jax. He's a 12 year old yellow lab rescued from Ionia. Currently retired and just enjoying life with family. My husband is a great provider and makes it all happen (lucky for me!). . Love the outdoors, particularly like living in the woods in northern MI. We have a cabin there on 30 acres with a family compound for our kids and friends to join us as they are available. Will retire there in the near future (hard to believe). My mother is still living in Wyoming, and my 2 sisters are there also. Would welcome hearing from anyone who remembers me.
