Kathi's Story
Life
I was working as a trucker for the last 6 mo.'s, came home, death of my ex husband, & have been busy trying to get life back on track for my daughter. Please pray for my family to get over the lose of a wonderful person in our life! I am back to working at the hospital.
The kids are all grown up. I am doing the things I like to do nowdays like: hiking, fishing, dancing, & pool.
My oldest, Tony, is 29, has 2 daughters & a son. My 25 yr. old, Brian, is married, had their 1st child (girl) July 1st, 2005. His wife is Japanese & awesome. They had their baby here in OR but left to go back to Japan. She is pregnant with their second child now. Miss them! Son 24 yrs old, John, lives in Missiouri, just got back from Iraq last mo. Second tour. He did a year in Iraq, went in with the 3rd ID, came home for a few months & joined Reg. Army in 2004. Just found out yesterday they are expecting their first baby in July. My daughter, Courtney, who is 22 yrs. old is just like me stubborn & very independant. Special in everyway! She has 2 children a boy & girl. They live out here so it is lots of fun being a grandparent!

yone who spits to this day! He loved country & western music, my best friend & I gave him so much crap. I listen to it today, without hitting my knee & making fun of it. I love country & western music today! Who would of thought? I remember the running down the halls getting dressed for PE or after class to make it to practice, always being late cause we went for a walk (smoke break). The things you can do in an all girl school...lol. Rolling the skirt up to make it 4 inches above the knee with our shirts hanging out, thinking it was sexy. We had fun acting like we had it all together. We did!
Workplace
I have worked in the health care field for 28+ yrs. I put my husband threw school, raised kids, & never got my nursing degree. It is funny how life throws curves. I am a Hospital tech and sure enjoy the work. Doing what I really want to do! I love working with people & enjoy the challenge. I have had many different jobs in hospitals, with old, & young people. From mother baby, labor delivery, tauma, & floating to the ER. Med Surg. is where I excel. All has been good! Was a trucker long haul for 6 mo.'s, miss it sometimes but I have quit a few trucker friends that remind me sometimes that bad part of it too. I will do local a few times a month so I don't forget! LOnghaul shorts for 4 or 5 days is what I hope to do in the summer.
