Kathy's Story
Hey! Thanks for visiting! It's great to see you! Come in and have a cup of tea! So what have you been up to since I last saw you? As for me, yeesh...It's been so many years, I don't know where to start! Let's work backwards! I'm currently the house manager of a Ronald McDonald Family Room in NY. No, I don't sell burgers and fries!!! Our Family Room is in a children's hospital, and the families of hospitalized, critically ill children stay with us. We give them a "home away from home" as most of them live an hour or more away from the hospital. It's an amazing job, and I've gotten to meet people (the parents) who have become my heroes.
I've been married for--get this--26 plus years! (27 in May) Whoda thunk it??? My husband is a police officer in a pretty large city in NY State. I have two daughters, Amanda who is 20, and Nicole who is 18. Both great kids!

I've been on the worship team of my church for-oh-about fifteen plus years, and am now the worship leader.
I've been to Bermuda, the Bahamas, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Virginia, Colorado, Maine, Rhode Island, most of the New England states, for that matter, and I'm sure I'm missing other places...but you look bored so I won't go on!
My mom still lives out on Long Island, so we often drive past Harborfields...my kids know it as my alma mater.
Did you go to any of the high school reunions? I never did. Never knew anyone who was going, and I also am not very impressed with who I was back then, so I'm not fond of venturing into that part of my life! I hope you remember me in a better light than I remember myself!!! As an oldER person, I'm more content in my own skin, happy, thank God healthy, and doing what I believe I'm supposed to be doing in life.
