Kathy Dennis:  

I attended two high schools; Norwalk High from 1966-67 (freshman) and La Mirada High from 1967-70 where I graduated from. So, I have my name posted with both high schools in the hopes of connecting with people I went to school with. It was tough leaving all the friends I grew up with at age 14, but I survived at my new school. After graduating from Cerritos College with an RN degree (my Mom and I were the first mother-daughter team to graduate from the Cerritos nursing school together), I worked at Rio Hondo Hospital, for an oncology office in Long Beach and then finally at Memorial Medical Center of Long Beach in the blood donor center. I married, had a daughter, then a son and then our family made the big move to Star, Idaho in August 1994. We are about 17 miles from Boise and we love it up here.
