Kathy's Story
I moved to Frankfort, Kentucky in 1982, the summer my sister Jackie got married, and I moved away from Sandusky. I never thought that would happen! I met and married a great guy in KY in 1988, and had two beautiful daughters. David (husband) was killed in 1995. They still have not found the person(s) who took his life...15 years later!
Today, I work for the state as a Policy Analyst and Contract Officer for the Dept of Behavioral Health. I love what I do. It definitly keeps me busy. Both of my daughters are still in college and working, as well(Heather 20 and Ashley 24). r, Julia. Julia is awesome! She's a gymnast and wants to compete in the olympics someday. She has given me a lot of practice being a grandmother, and last May she got a little sister whose name is Gabriella and the smartest and cutest baby ever. (Aren't they all?}
I still return to Sandusky once a year or so to visit family and never seem to have the time to look up old friends. I miss the beach and Cedar Point! I hope to retire to our summer vacation spot, Okalloosa Island/ Ft.Walton Beach, Florida some day, with a summer place in our home away from home, Gatlinburg, TN in the Great Smoky Mountains!
