Kathy's Story
After High School, things change don't they! the playing field evens out a bit. i dated around a little after school was out. my fav was a guy we all went to school with - Todd McDonald. I would love to know whatever happened to him. i never dated him, but i always liked David Goff. thought he was a sweetie.
In 1979 i met a guy from Reese that proposed to me so i moved to Chattanooga TN area in April, 1980 and have been here ever since. we married in June 1980, and had 5 children ogether, but his alcohol and drug habits put us in divorce court in 1993.
so.. I went back to college, even getting credit for my few TTU courses and graduated in 97 with an Assoc in Advertising. I've been working for ad agencies and/or freelancing ever since. Remember the 3 murals i painted in the High School? (one was a "FROG" mural behind the sandwish cashier in the cafeteria) well, I'm back at it. I put a few of them on this website plus i have a bigger collection of them on my facebook.

d something my hubby and i enjoy together - and my yard is like a living sculpture to me. This part of the country is lush, so i have many options for plants and flowers. i love to compose the shapes, textures, sizes, colors and blooming times.
the other thing i love to do - did a little of it at Monterrey - enough to get my 200 hours in to be a verified "thespian" (complete with beanie!) is theater. it's fun to be a "character" and be silly, while entertaining others with it!
My husband and i love to entertain. moving to Lubbock in 1973 from chicago was a big shock to me, and i had trouble fitting in a lot. then my parents divorced and moved off by 1976, so i was there alone 1000 miles from family at holiday times, etc. A family from NYC always invited me to be a part of their family time, so i have paid it forward, so to speak over the years, inviting people in that have nowhere to go at important times like holidays. jerry and i love to make people feel included and important. yeah, we are the types that will go to the homeless shelter at Thanksgiving to serve food, too. :-). we both sing at church and love to make a difference through music. All my kids are musical, too. it's a wonderful thing.
