Kathy's Story

My husband Jim and I moved to New Mexico approximately 30 years ago. We came with our 2 youngest sons, (the other children were grown), so they could grow up biking, backpacking, skiing and living the outdoor life that New Mexico affords. We lived the dream until the boys were grown and continued until I broke my leg about 10 years ago while skiing at Wolf Creek. Now, we're busy working with our Churchand...Expand for more
doing much more sedate activities. We fish, hike, golf and I teach beginning quilting. We live rural in the mountains about 35 miles from Santa Fe and the same distance from Albuquerque. Jim built a woodworking shop and spends lots of time working on some beautiful things he designs and makes. Both of us retired from Honeywell and LOVE retirement! We had a perfect life until Jim passed away January 2022
