Life
Married in 1981-Celebrated 22nd anniversary in Oct 2003...Divorced Nov 2003. 1st son (Lucas) born in 1983, 2nd son (Carlton) born in 1989. Oldest is a graduate of Choctaw HS in 2001, National Honor Society member, USAA awards in 3 divisions, and is now a Staff Sgt in the US Marine Corps, stationed in NC. He married in winter 2005, and made me a grandmother on August 9, 2005 with Ellora Faith Pumphrey (my first g/child). Update--second g/child born Jan 15, 2007, Arielle Marie. My youngest son, Carlton, is very much into the guitar, keyboard, computer design and art. Very proud of both of them! Carlton and the family had a tough 2005/2006..he was diagnosed with bone cancer of the left femur just before T'giving 2005 (Jr. year), but is doing well after extensive surgery and aggressive chemo. After missing half of his junior year and almost all of his senior year doing homebound classes, Carlton finished the last 3 weeks at the school, and was able to WALK with his class for gradu...Expand for more

BRAND NEW UPDATE!-June 30, 2008--After the many, many years that seem to have gone by, for those of you that can remember back through Pryor and Choctaw, I FINALLY became Mrs. Troy Wheelahan on June 28, 2008! Life is GREAT, God is working his power. We both just had to do the other things planned for us first-(i.e. other marriages, the wonderful children we have from them, and the miscellaneous trials and hardships we both endured apart), before our paths finally merged as one.
Carlton now works with CoViSec here in town in sales and support, and is attending DeVry through online studies to get into information technology or programming/web design/game creation. Lucas was on assignment in Iraq, where he attained rank of Staff Sgt, and he came back in February. He's still stationed in North Carolina, probably will be for awhile. I can't wait to see my granddaughters this summer when they visit!
