Kathy's Story
Life
I've been married to Marty Blumer for 47 years and we live near Weedsport, N.Y. We have lived in the same house in the country for 46 years. Son Mark is 46, sells electrical supplies to contractors and has two sons who are 18 and 13, Rob is 44 and an optical electrical engineer who is working with radar systems in Syracuse!, He has a son 9 and a daughter 7. Daughter Julie is 41, lives in Batavia and has left her job as a U.S. Customs Inspector to be a stay-at-home Mom for her four sons, who are 13, 10, 7 and 5. ing for AAA of California. I have been a licensed family Child Care Provider for the past 32 years and have loved being able to stay home with my family and yet also have a career! I obviously love children and have been able to keep my "empty nest" full of little children!
In my spare time and just for fun, I participate in agility with my dogs. You've probably seen dogs on Animal Planet running around obstacle courses! Well, I do that and we even go to competitions! (You'll never see us on Animal Planet though - we're not that good!) I've also recently started doing therapy visits with my two year old Havanese dog, Barkley!
