Kathy's Story
Life
I can't believe it has been 30 plus years since we graduated from good old Provo High School. For the past 25 years, I have been a teacher in Vernal, Ut. I teach reading in a middle school and my husband teaches 5th grade at an elementary school. I finished my adminstrative certificate last year and am hoping to land a job as principal or vice principal before I finally retire from education (which won't be for awhile.) We have two adult children. My son is 29 and is a musician living in Homer, AK. He plays guitar and sings solo at bars and restaurants a couple ...Expand for more
of nights a week and then plays a drum in a band called Three Legged Mule on the other nights. Floyd and I love going to Homer and are thinking about getting property there for summer vacations since we go there so much. My daughter also lived there until last Nov. Now she is living with us for awhile until she figures out what her next adventure will be. My father is still living in Provo so we get down there quite often. My mother passed away about three years ago and I still miss her very much. My brother Kelly (Moose) is a very successful financial advisor in SLC.
