Kathy's Story

Life Hi, Life is good! I'm married (since 1976) to Eric. Eric is a retired biology teacher, farmer, and conservation biologist. In spite of my miserable high school performance, I graduated suma-cum-laude with a BA in Business Management and a Juris Master in Law. We have two kids: Erik is a conductor with the railroad, and Aryn is a special Ed teacher. Between them we have 6 grandchildren whom we...Expand for more
're pretty crazy about. We're lucky that both families live close and we get to see them often. We live on an acreage about 45 miles west of Des Moines. I am retired after 50 years of high-tech work (avionics technician, technical writing, software design and instructional design) and now enjoy low-tech hobbies (sewing, gardening, reading, hiking).. I enjoy the bios and pictures on this site!
