Life
Living my dream programming the Space Shuttle. I'm happy - that's all that counts right?
College
I went to college at Iowa State University and majored in Aerospace Engineering with minor in Astronomy/Astrophysics. I took several semesters off and did a co-op with Northwest Airlines. During my time with NWA I helped with pilot training and programming of the full motion flight simulators. I have been through ground school on the 747-200...Expand for more
and the A319/A320 and can fly (not legally mind you) any airplane that NWA owns. After graduation I will be going into the space industry. As much as I liked my time at Northwest I still have a passion for the space industry and that's where I feel I belong.
Workplace
I'm currently employed by Boeing Integrated Defense and Space Systems in Houston, TX. It's here that I am part of the team that programs the Space Shuttle during its entry phase.
