Katrina's Story

OMG!! I can't believe that the graduating class this year, 2008, they were born the year we graduated! Unbelievable! Anyway, life is flying by for me. Chris and I are still married if you all can believe it. Some things are just meant to be and we were for sure. We just had a daughter in Dec. of 2006. We waited a looong time, but it's been worth it because I'm able to stay home with her for now. Chris and I have been all over the place it seems. Chris joined the Army back in 96 and it took us to live in Monterey, Texas, and New York. I freaked at first being a home town girl and all, but it was the best thing for me and got me out of my comfort zone. My family is still all pretty much in Atwater. After NY we moved to the bay area for 5 years while Chris finished up school and I worked. We live in Roseville, CA right now and started our own business. My brother, Rob Perez, and his family live about a mile from ...Expand for more
us. He has two kids, so it's nice to have cousins to play with our daughter Aubree. Well, I'll try to get some more pics up. Hard to sum everything up in one sitting. Would love to hear from anyone. The first fourth of July here in Roseville, I was pregnant with Aubree and Chris and I were at the park after the parade. Well, this woman walks up to me and says, "Are you Katrina!" I said, um, yes! She said, I'd recognize your smile anywhere!, It's me, Wendy!" Anyone remember Wendy Lansdell from 8th grade at Mitchell? Her dad was in the AirForce and she had to move to Texas before High School. Anyway, Wendy lives up here in Citrus Heights and we talk now and again. It had been 20 years since I'd seen her last and she still looks the same. Anyway, just wanted to share that. It totally blew me away. Small world!
