Life
Currently, I am living in Texas working as a Research Associate in the field of Criminal Justice.I attended Southern University and transferrd Jackson State University. I am a graduate of JSU and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. After I finished my master's, I moved to Texas to work in the field of Criminal Justice. Basically i merge both of my degrees (Computer Science & Criminology) and i conduct profiles on serial crimes!! So, don't make me have to profile you!!!! LOL!! Mannnn!!! Which school do I start at? If I could do it all over again, the only thing I would change is high school!! I would have NEVER committed myself to one person!! That took too much out of me. I thought I was sooo in love!! But, that's a part of growing up, you live and you learn. I hope that I can instill in my children what my parents tried to teach me about just having fun and not getting too serious. But, through it all, that is the only thing I would change. Also, its so funny now how the people that HATED me in high school, break their necks to speak now!! WHATEVER!!! Kick ROCKS!! And if you happen to be one of them reading this........keep kicking rocks!!!! As for the COLLEGE years, I WOULDN'T CHANGE A THING, NOT ONE THING!!!!!!! I started to date again and found someone that makes me smile everyday! Most times anyway!! lol! I had some of the best times at Southern and even BETTER times at Jackson State. WOULDN'T CHANGE NOTHING AT ALL!!!!!
College
Oh my gosh!! Well, at Southern, my friends Shun and Danyetta would sweat me about studying!! If I was going to hang out with them and be grown, I had to bring my books with me. I used to hate them for getting on my nerves, but I knew they had my best interest at heart. The most unique roommate I have had to date is my roomie at Jackson State and Tasha from Southern. e wasn't trying to. Litha was just the funniest person I have met. She was from the Delta, and so country to me. But, she kept me on my toes and we had a lot of fun at JSU. Staying up all times of the night, and the 4th floor crew in McAllister, those were the days of our lives. I know Ms. Cummings was sooo sad to see us go. That was my roommate until I moved off campus!!! As a comp-sci major, oh, yeah, I had my share of lonnnng nights of studying... Prob and Stats, Calculus, Senior Project, getting programs done when I get off of work, and the list goes on and on. But I wouldn't change a thing...From J-Sette tryouts to the parties at Soups, Freelons, Q-Parties, whatever, I had a ball at JSU!!! Just as I thought it couldn't get any better, I became a Delta and the fun had only just begun. I have had so much fun kickin it with the sorors and the Bruhs (gotta luv the Bruhs)!!! From Q-Delta to parties at the Frat House, we have made some lasting memories that will forever be in our hearts. So from SU to JSU, I had A ball and wouldn't change one moment!!!
Workplace
The first job i have ever had was at my then favorite place in the world to eat... Taco Bell. Then I basically did work study. I worked at Trustmark Bank until I graduated and stated working for Jackson State University while i worked on my Masters. I think it was the least they could do after tormenting my brain for 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, i work as a Research Associate and i love my job! I don't like the types of cases i have to work all the time, (some things are too emotional to deal with)! But its a job and i must do it!!
