Kay's Story

I've lived right here in La Crosse all my adult life. I am not a traveler. I've passed up a few life changing opportunities just because I dislike traveling. The best part of going away is coming home for me! I like it here, well, except for the Winter. I'm an outdoor person, but shoveling and plowing during the winter are not my favorites! guess. I am divorced. I married a man from the South when I was 27. His name was Wimberly, so everyone thinks I married Neil Wimberly! We were married for a long time and had two boys. It was not a good match, which I knew a long time ago. We live and learn. I'm a happy person these days. My two sons give me joy. Grandchildren are still a long ways off I think. My motto: "Life is more accurately measured by the lives you touch than by the things you acquire."
