Kay's Story
I was head Majorette in the Anna-Jonesboro High School marching band. I twirled a fire baton at the football games and marched in approximately 12 parades a year.
I was a Candy Striper at Union County Hospital and in the Nurse's club.
My first job was a carhop on roller skates at a root beer stand outside of Anna, Il.
I attended Shawnee Jr. College in Karnak, Il and SIU-C to get a BSN degree and an AArts degree in Psychology.

was 22 years old. We lived in Anna, Il, Madison, Indiana and Dayton, Ohio. Then I moved back to Jonesboro, Il to live with my children and Father while my Husband moved to Seattle, Wa.
He died a few yrs ago with Pancreatic Cancer
I remarried in 1995. and now live in Plano, Tx
My current Husband is on Hospice with a diagnosis of Heart Failure.
I currently work as a Hospice Nurse out of Arlington, Tx.
I have worked for several Dog Foster groups. We have adopted 2 Huskys and 7 Chihuahuas who we consider our little family.
