Kay's Story
Life
At 54 I look ahead more than back. It so far has been a very interesting life. After a 13 year marriage it ended in divorce. Single for 10years with 3 children we struggled but when people asked my children why we were poor they asked me what poor meant. I was happy that my children were so rich with love they had no idea what poor was. After 10 years of being a single Mom, the lord gave me an angel. I married a very dear, special man and we spent ten wonderful years together. Unfortunately we lost Bob to colon cancer in 1994. Once again the lord sent me an angel and I married Bob's best friend. is past May I graduated college again, going back for my RN degree. It was great seeing my grand-daughters holding a sign up in the crowd that said, "Way to Go Grandma." I have 2 daughters, 1 son, and 4 grand-daughters and one more grand-daughter due in Oct. 2004. Life has been a true ride for me. Through my ups and downs, my sorrows and Joys I have kept the Lord as my leader and He has helped me to keep strong and never give up. Praise God! Hope to hear from some of my old class mates. I know I didn't graduate with you all but I spent so much time with such good people at Technical High School that I truly hope to hear from some of you.
