Kay's Story
My classmates will probably remember me as shy and a bit backwards. I have changed a bit I'm now known as nutty Nana. I love to make people laugh. I am the one on the left in the picture the one on the right is my sister. I used my stepfather's name Thurston until my senior year. The school told me I had to go by my legal name which was Lockhart. I think everyone thought I got married over the summer. My best friend was a year younger, Susan Young. She married Harold Newton. he early 80's. I have two sons and 4 grandchildren. Most of my family lives in MO so I go back as often as I can. I did get married right after high school & was married for 8 years and had two awesome sons. I divorced and moved to Bolivar Mo. where I was born and where most of my family lives
. I came to TX 1983. I married again that lasted 15 years. He
passed away in 2000. My heart broke. But 5 years later God brought me someone special. We will celebrate our 10th
anniversary on June 18th.
