Kay's Story
My story from after BHS is on to Perk and then USM.I got a job at Gorenflo Elem school where I spent the next 32 years as a teacher. I stayed single many years and traveled in the summer with friends and worked at a water slide part of the summers.We decided to start a Mardi Gras Krewe which is having our 34th year in January. We have 100 members and have a ball every year as we also have a float and ride in a couple of parades.I like to make costumes for our court and we have already started for next years ball.We have a camper and go camping once in a while. friends.I finally got married in 1998 to a guy from Gulfport. We live in Biloxi North of the interstate . We have three acers and it is just enough to have a small garden.Things are moving out this way since Katrina. I am retired and love it. My health is not the greatest but I keep on trucking. We have a 1939 Mercury car and a 1936 truck.We don't go to as many car shows as we used to,but we do Cruising the Coast every year and a few other shows. We get things in the mail and calls on the phone in Spanish! I don;t know where "Gonzales" came from!! I am as fat and happy as can be. Love hearing from old friends! Kay
