Kay's Story
I moved away from Santa F in January,1960. It was not my choice to do so.I got married in 1961. My husband was in the Air Force at that time and was stationed in Roswell, N.M. We lived in Roswell for 3 yrs. I have 2 children, both boys.
We moved to Oklahoma when his enlistment was over.I lived in Oklahoma all but 1 year until 2002 when I moved to Carrizozo,N.M.
Since leaving Santa Fe I have worked as a nurses aide,clerk beautician and a pipefitter in an oil refinery. I worked as a pipefitter for Conoco Oil for 20yrs.
I have raised and shown Arabian...Expand for more
horse. I Like to garden,cook and sew.I also do oil and acrylic paintings. I like history, reading,watching tv . I collect southwestern pottery and kachina dolls. I like most types of music except for heavy metal and hip hop.
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is George Lopez, because just to see how he is doing.
I now have 2 pets a dog and a cat. I forgot to tell you I also owned a small ranch. I had 9 horses 30 head of cattle and put up about 2,000 small square bales of grass hay a year.
My life certainly has not been boring
