Kay's Story
After high school I went to Skagit Valley College for a year. Since I didn't really know what I wanted to do, it all seemed like a waste of time so I quit. I moved to Ohio for a year and then moved back home and went to work.
I ended up back in the family construction business and stayed with it until my dad became ill and closed the doors.
I married Ron in 1989 and we have 2 boys. Joshua was born in 1991 and Nathan in 1994.

rted travelling from job to job. We spent 2 years working in the western states including about 6 weeks in Hawaii. The last job took us to the Oregon coast where a position became available with the local phone company and Ron got the job.
We settled in and I became a full-time mom until the boys were both in school.
We've been our current home for 10 years now.
I work part-time for a food distributor. I'm also the manager for the local bowling association.
In my spare time I like to read and bowl.
