Kay's Story
Life
After leaving Auburn at the end of my junior year, I was married to a career naval aviator, had two children, and completed college at Miami University, Ohio. That was most interesting, so I went on for a master's degree. Finishing that, I began teaching at Miami University, and went on to University of Cincinnati to get a Ph. r of Anthropology and Sociology, teaching both, ever since. My current husband and I have published eight books on political leadeershiip and leadership theory, studying revolutionaries, military leaders, and American presidents, among others. I'm still teaching, looking forward to spending time with my daughter and her husband and three grandchildren. Not much excitement in the life of an academic, but, at least, it's steady work!
