My mother is still alive and kicking me when I need it but my dad and step-dad both passed away in the 90's. I still miss them everyday.
I have never returned to Tennessee to live but have managed to visit there a few times...things change every time I go back..of course now that I live here it sure is a long trip!

oved back here. I have lived this time in Louisiana for 16 yrs and own my home here.I lived here before for 8 yrs so I guess this is really what I call home now!
My husband is a fantastic man, not only in the fact that he puts up with me, but brings laughter and joy to anyone around him!I was blessed 17 yrs ago when I decided to eat breakfast in Waffle House before going to work!!
I have managed to contact a few of my old classmates and would love to contact more..hopefully if your reading this you will make that effort to get in touch with me. I sure hope so!
We experienced both Katrina and 3 weeks later Rita in 2005 and saw a great change in our home and behond. My husband is one of the proud rebuilders of New Orleans. We are choosing to remain in Lousiana since we are consitered in a "safe" area.(well as safe as you can get in one..we are far enough away from water not to suffer flooding) Every day is now precious to us and we strive to enjoy each and every day.
