Kay's Story
After graduation I moved to Macon, Georgia where my Dad accepted a job with Macon State College where I attended school majoring math and business. When I graduated I accepted a job with Bibb County Board of Education as a substitute teacher. I met my future husband when I worked part=time for the City of Macon. We were married in 1972. ntil I retired in 2011. My husband and I are very fortunate to have two wonderful children living Macon. Our son Morris is an Attorney and our daughter Kristy is a Phlebotomist. We have a lovely daughter-in-law who just received her Doctorate and a wonderful grandson who is on the Math Team and plays soccer, football and runs track for his School. I own an Embroidery and Quilting business which allows me to enjoy my love of sewing and designing.
