Kay's Story

Life I worked most of my career in broadcasting and journalism, starting in Montgomery, then moving to New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Boston and New York. My last staff job was at Money magazine in New York, where I was a reporter/writer. In 1987 I moved to Savannah, Ga., and got married. Savannah's historic district, and I still do some journalism, writing for the Chicago Tribune, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and other publications. In 1994, Michael and I traveled to China and adopted a 2-year-old daughter, whom we named April. She is now 9, and we homeschool her. We like to travel, read, surf the Net and watch "The Sopranos" and "Survivor." I'm not skinny anymore.
