Life
No kids...not even close. LOL I have a man...and His name is Jesus. Still waiting for Him to send the second love of my life.
School
My biggest crush that happened was on Isaiah King. Biggest crush that never happened was on JoVon Anderson (big loud laugh). It's cool though because through him dissing me oh so gently, I gained a life long friend. What can I say Freshman year was a confusing time!
Mr. Keller was the most inspiring teacher. Not because I loved Physics oh so much, he was excellent at what he did. I wanted to be that proficient at whatever I ended up doing for a living, and love doing it, like Mr Keller. God has blessed me and I can say that I have achieved that.
College
My first roomate was Elaytheia Brackett, during BOP. That was interesting...I had to put her on blast the first day...things went well there after. Partly because any nasty things she said or commented on after that was most definitely not to my face :-D
My second roomate...1st Semester scared the life out of that roomate because I had to let her know I would not die from her second hand smoke on the no smoking floor. She bounced shortly after :-D
Then I got the best roomate ever...Julie Yonkers from Skokie, IL...she was a nuclear engineering major. Need I say more? She was never there! Fabulous roomate LOL.
I never gained the Freshman 15...partly because I was participating in the membership intake process for Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated. Didn't have much time for eating... then second semester I partied so much... I was on the party walking workout program. LOL
College was a world wind of sin, being lost, cramming for class, being broke and thanking God I graduated unscathed. I learned so much about myself though! Don't regret one minute. Good or bad.
Workplace

a cut it!
In a nut shell I spent 5 years in sales...I was clearly a victim of Bush economics. I was very successful ended up being a Branch Manager for Wells Fargo Financial...did that for over a year...only took me a little over a year to get that far, being a complete novice in sales. I would say God blessed me with the gift of gab.
Got forced out of Wells Fargo by my super special boss (note my sarcasm). Moved to Virginia...where all heck broke lose in my career (and that is putting it mildly). Fast forward...I finally said I hate sales always have, and decided to switch careers. That took one long excruciating year of temping and doing jobs that I never thought I could humble myself enough to do...yet I was doing them and loving not having a sales goal!
Until I finally embarked upon the career that would be the best move I've ever made career wise since leaving Purdue. I took 5 exams and at the end of the testing frenzy I was a tech for Verizon Telecom. Troubleshooting for technicians out in the field and customers calling if for fiber optic service...also known as FiOS. It was the biggest learning curve I have ever embarked on in my life...but I have come out of it a certified techy! Which was nothing new for me, its in my blood. Anyone that knows my father can tell you LOL. But I love it! I love troubleshooting and figuring out what's wrong. I've since been promoted to being an offline tech troubleshooting difficult issues and im'ing customers online with crazy issues and more recently (like last week June 25th or something) I have been promoted to working order escalations on the provisioning side. Partnering with network techs, engineers, etc to get customers provisioned properly so that when the tech shows up for install they can turn up the service with no order issues. God is good and I am going stay in the IT field and see where it takes me.
