Keith's Story
Life
Thanks for stopping in and checking out what's been going on in my life. It's been an interesting 20 years since we were last together so I'll just keep to the most current events.
My wife Chris and I currently live in Newark, Delaware and are raising four beautiful children, Brandon (12), Justin (9), Jessica (7) and Hailey (4). Quite a handful, yes, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.
In my career I am doing what I had always dreamed of doing. I have combined my desire to work with computers along with my skills and talents for working with people to propel my company forward. It is quite a journey.
I have found that the love of God has opened doors for me that I never would have dreamed of. He has shown me my talent for singing and has allowed me to use it to bless him by expressing my love for him on my church's worship team for the past eight years.
I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to our 20th High School reunion, but maybe I'll catch up with you at the next one. Until then take care and God Bless.
Military
After high school I found that college didn't hold all the promise that I had imagined. I know I wanted adventure and to continue my education. I found that the Navy held what I had been looking for.
I spent six years studying, traveling, learning different cultures and making many friends whom I am blessed to have known. I still stay in touch with some of them and have used the education & experience I learned in the Navy to further my current career.

camp in Orlando, Florida. What an exciting beginning. It was my first experience, for an extended period, away from my family and opened my eyes to what the world had to offer me as an adult.
After boot camp I traveled to Great Lakes, Illinois for more education and completed my first portion of schooling several months later.
My first assignment was on a Guided Missile Cruiser down in Charleston, South Carolina, the USS R.K. Turner. It left for a six month tour of the Persian Gulf three weeks after I arrived. Talk about into the fire. I gained more life and worldly experiences than I could have imagined. My shipmates and I grew to become great friends. The best two years of my Navy career were spent on that ship.
I spent the rest of my Naval career on two more ships, both Sub Tenders, the USS Fulton and the USS L.Y. Spear. The jobs I held on those ships changed from what I knew on my first ship, but I continued to learn a lot and was glad for the experience. Especially after a second tour of the Persian Gulf on my last ship.
Two tours over in the Persian Gulf has given me an understanding of a way of life that I don't believe I would have learned any other way without living it first hand. The countries that I visited in SouthEast Asia have a beauty all their own. Unfortunately, you have to look past the destruction and disruption that is currently there to admire it. I hope to one day visit that area of the world again, once the restlessness of race, religion and culture differences has made way for peace.
