Graduated with BA from University of Richmond 1970 and MA (both in English) 1972, MBA Long Island University (Marketing) 1980. Commissioned in Regular Army 1970. Asst. Professor at USMA, served overseas (eight years) and in a various CONUS assignments including faculty member USMA, company & battalion command, HQDA and joint assignments. Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Procurement Advisors LLC, (2013-2020) - Atlanta based consulting company with 100+ employees. Sold majority ownership of the company to a NYC-based private equity group in May 2019 and retired in December 2020. Still a minority partner and active on several boards and with family charitable foundation . Married to Kathleen Boswell of Richmond, VA for 54 years (and counting). Currently live in Richmond, Virginia.
