Keith's Story
Hi,
Life has really flown by. I often think of the countless number of good people who influenced my journey. Funny, in looking back at my humble beginnings to think how rich they truly were. Perhaps we all long for things gone. I do cherish the thoughts though.
A little about me.
It all turned out pretty well. After graduating from the University of Iowa I went on to a stellar corporate career that took me around the country, rising to become an executive at the New York Times Company during the 80's. While on vacation in the Bahamas some 30 odd years ago I met my wife. After a few more years in New York we became adventureous and decided to move back to the Islands and start several businesses. states I founded and started a newspaper in South Florida that became quite popular. Several years ago, I sold the newspaper and took off for Europe thinking I'd retired. Just can't so we bought a chain of quick-serve restaurant franchises and I'm kind of semi-retired. Oh, we have four wonderful sons, 2 Morehouse grads. 1 Clark-Atlanta grad and one still in high school. They're all working in the business and it's great!
We sponsor an annual summer camp and send kids to college through a foundation I set-up several years ago in South Florida.
I would love to hear stories about those I grew up with in high school and Des Moines whom I haven't seen or heard about in years.
Miss the good old days but love today even more...
