Keith's Story
My life has been full of twists & turns, crossroads and deadends. The ride has been great especially after I learned how to trust God to do the driving. When I insist on driving I get into wrecks. I recently figured out why God created me in His image with 2 ears, 2 eyes and ONE MOUTH. I've also got 2 hands & 2 legs for His reasons . . .
My current crusades are homelessness & criminal justice reform - both interrelated and intertwined. I've lived in Southern California since 1991 and hopefully will recover my health to the point I can move to Sacramento & assume a position with Associated Prison Ministries of California. My friend Ophra gets my philosophy of life, basically PAY IT FORWARD. Also, when Jesus said "if any one would be my disciple they must pick up THEIR OWN CROSS and follow me He wasn't referring to the 24 karat gold version nor was he inviting me to follow him to Wal-Mart for the deal of the month. He was referring to crucifixion. Best part about being crucified is it always ends for me (and you too) in RESURRECTION. This isn't just a bible story it is the story of our mortal lives. I'm not willing to "just talk the talk", I here to "Walk the Walk!" You're welcome to join me if you choose. If you're curious about how this life philosophy has worked out in my life.
What I'm trying to tell you is it's been the best 71 years of my life.
