Keith's Story

Life I've been married to my wife, Karen, for 8 years now. We have two wonderful kids - Ryan (6) and Amanda (4). I lived in Pittsburgh for 2 years then in Charlotte, North Carolina for 8 years. For the last 18 years I have lived here in Connecticut where I met my wife and (finally!) started a family. I have a lot of interests and hobbies. I run (slowly) and completed my first marathon in 2002. I like bike touring, mountain biking, kayaking (built 2 kayaks so far). I like to brew beer and roast my own coffee. I like listening to music and shortwave radio (mostly looking for pirate radio stations)...and am now restoring an old 1964 Vespa scooter. Our kids are doing very well in school and I'm VERY proud of them. Ryan wants...Expand for more
to be an architect (he loves to build with Lego) and Amanda is all girl... wants to be "a mommy". School I really haven't kept in touch with anybody from high school and wish I had. I often think of many of you. College I got an associates degree in electronics from Electronic Institute in Pittsburgh. About 10 years ago I went back to school in the evenings and got a bachelors in computer science at Iona College. Workplace I've been with IBM for over 25 years now... mostly supporting their financing division where I've had numerous jobs in programming development, systems analysis and project management. Right now, I'm developing an SAP-based system for procurement, manufacturing and sales. Military I don't like to be shot at.
