Keith's Story

Well past my nine lives at this point. Grew up in New York, New Mexico, California, Texas and Pennsylvania. College in PA, Georgia, Texas and Delaware before turning down opportunities for doctorates at Georgia Institute of Technology, Florida State University and University of Texas Austin. Mini careers as radio DJ (Greenville PA; Carrollton GA; Lufkin TX; Pittsburgh PA); university residence life; psychotherapist; online music media sales. Married (4 times) with stepdaughter and 5 birth children (current ages 15-41). Current wife Kristin and I have been together for 32 years. Raised Lutheran, I lost my faith in my early 20's and returned in my late 40's. Currently associate editor of an online periodical for serious Bible students, specializing in the study of the history of purposeful mistranslation of Scripture. Belong to an organization called Biblical Families, dedicated to supporting those who practice polygamy according to Biblical principles -- and willing to discuss it with anyone. Deeply spiritual but not religious, if that resonates for you. Literal translation of Christ's second commandment is to love everyone with whom you associate (not just your neighbor) as you would want to be loved. Music is one of my primary loves and am therefore thankful for state-of-the-art hearing aids, but my ears just aren't what they used to be! Still have a deep appreciation for altered states and have had 500+ acid trips. Life is a tremendous blessing for which I thank our Father every day. If you and I crossed paths in our journeys, I would love to hear from you, perhaps especially if we have unfinis...Expand for more
hed business -- even the kind that involved conflict, because it's never too late for me to beg for forgiveness. What I'm certain of is that anything is possible, as well as that even the worst relationship can be healed and turned into something that will benefit all concerned if there is mutual willingness. Please forgive me in advance if I have forgotten your name; that's something that falls outside of my list of strengths. But once I'm reminded of a connection, everything generally comes into sharp focus. In particular, I'm looking for the following people: The girl twins in my grade at Ohio Elementary School, one of whom was in Mrs. Smith's 3rd grade class with me. Karen Huckins, who was in my class each year from 1st to 4th grade; my mother forced me to play with her -- and only once I'd left North Tonawanda did I belatedly realize how much we had in common. Michael Fehrman, Rozlyn Neuman, Holly Hampton, Wendy Milsap, Jackie Hood, Gary Tomak, the Pauls, Michael Schwartz and pretty much everybody in my 5th and 6th grade MPP classes at Grant and Meadow Elementaries (and anyone who had to put up with how obnoxious we all were once we hit junior high!). Mr. Schoell, RIP. Wurlitzer Park Village friend Jane Lyons. Larry Shull from Grapevine High School. Kim Shulke especially but also anyone else from the TARS volunteer group in Hurst/Euless/Bedford TX between 970 and 1972. Denise Dailey and Bob Needham from Hampton High School. And, last but certainly not least, Carol Felice, my coworker at Stephen F. Austin State University between 1983 and 1985. Apologies at the ready for getting out of touch!
